Helldivers 2is not on PS4. It’s a shame, but Arrowhead announced the game for PS5 and PC only with no hint that it’ll show on the decade-old platform....

Lost Planet 2‘s enormous boss creatures and four-way cooperative are literally all I need to be pulled in. I’ll strictly be getting the game for single-player, which is something I rarely do. Some of you have already seen what the versus multiplayer is like through exclusive, early demos. Now,that same democan be played by all. It’s up on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and will presumably be coming to PlayStation Network soon (see: tomorrow)....

The ol’ 53 MHz bump In the new episode of theMajor Nelson podcast, chief product officer Marc Whitten brings word of a higher GPU clock speed for the Xbox One. Since E3, the team has increased the speed from 800 MHz to 853 MHz, which sounds like a nice little bump. The main takeaway from the appearance was that we should expect good things from gamescom later this month as plans finally come together....

Neil Gaiman, author, statesman and idol to everyone who has ever dreamt of wearing a cape in public, has publicly denounced the rumors around his involvement with the sequel to theSilent Hillmovie. The first movie was one of the best video-game-to-movie adaptations of all time, and many were hoping that the addition of the heralded writer would elevate the sequel to even loftier heights. Christopher Gans, the director of the original,recently statedthat Gaiman would be co-writing the script with Roger Avary, but Gaimandoesn’t seem to know anything about it....
Sony has a brand newinFamoustrailer up which shows off a little more gameplay to the sound of vanilla rock music that was performed by somebody’s brother, probably. Of interest to anybody who’s been following the game is a new power for main character Cole, a “Polarity Wall” shield, though you’ll need to employ your eagle vision to spot it. This game is looking pretty hot. My one concern is that the main character looks a bit generic....

Among the items fixed in the new update are numerous random crashes, the removal of an issue that was making analog sticks unresponsive, the correction of false information in the Graphics Quality menus, problems with flickering light and shadows in-game, and the removal of a bizarre bug that would render Joel, Ellie, and friends as dripping wet, as if they had all just come in out of a rainstorm....

Extended stays in the Underworld aren’t things that get rigorously planned out and marked on calendars for months to come. Overlord: Fellowship of Evilis set for an October 20 release date on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’ll again have you serving as the titular Overlord with a flock of minions to do your bidding....
Dated for February This was also sort of known roughly around launch, but given thatthe secondPokemon SunandMoonguide was just dated, it’s worth talking about. Just in time for the National Pokedex, this second edition will go through the entire Alolan ‘dex, providing movesets and abilities, and provide a post-game rundown. The original guide pretty much covered everything (including Zygarde cell spots), but failed to explicitly show Ultra Beast locations — so I wouldn’t say it’s really necessary given how easy that questline is....
