Activision hires for ‘advanced retouching of screenshots’

Have you ever heard of the games industry position “Art Services Screenshot Associate” before? Me either. I’ve always figured that there was someone out there that did something like this, but I didn’t know that it was a position until I sawActivison’s job listing on Gamasutra. I think it sounds more fishy than it is. They’re basically asset machines, working behind the scenes to crank visual assets out. But the listing does ask that the applicant be able to “perform advanced retouching of screenshots,” and that’s something that no gamer wants to hear....

Ape Escape news is coming in 2020: Please be a new game

Maybe we’ll get the chance to break up more ape families Ape Escapeis one of my favorite gaming experiences: period. I still go back and play the original trilogy to this day every few years or so....

Days Gone added a way to reset hordes

Rock-a-Bye BB As of patch 1.60, it’s now possible to reset hordes inDays Goneand face them again. You can reset hordes, ambush camps, and infestation zones repeatedly, but first, you’ll need to clear the story mission “For an Outlaw Biker” and reach 100% completion for either “Horde Killer,” “Ambush Camp Killer,” or “Infestation Exterminator,” respectively. With that caveat out of the way, you’re free to duck into the pause menu (by pressing the “Options” button on the DualShock 4) and select “Reset Jobs....

Most of these are must plays In addition to a new iOS and AndroidDragon Questgame, it seems as if Square Enix has something more exciting up their sleeve —portsofDragon Quest IthroughVIII! Though I think some ports will lend themselves to the mobile platform more than others (I-IVshould be perfect given their simplicity), I would be interested in trying out pretty much all of these....
