We were able to get some more hands-on time withTekken Tag Tournament 2at a Namco Bandai event here at Comic Con, and after spending more than 30 minutes trying to beat the final boss and failing miserably every time, I finally decided to call it quits. Of course I was rocking out with my boy, Yoshimitsu, who I’ve used since the firstTekkentitle on the original PlayStation, but I was no match for the overpowered final boss whose identify I’ll keep a secret as I think it will surprise series fans....

A small number of layoffs, apparently Sega of America confirmed today an undisclosed number of layoffs,Venture Beatreports. A spokeswoman for the company had this to say: “As the gaming industry continues to evolve, companies must adapt and adjust to compete and succeed in an ever-changing environment. It has been a tough month for the world as several celebrities have passed away all at once. Apparently Solid Snake, hero of the Metal Gear series of videogames, has also passed. We came across this memorial for the raspy-voiced hero at Anime Expo this past weekend. Mourners gathered around a crushed box — presumably one he died in — to pay their respects for the original stealth action game star....
