Official Nintendo Store is selling refurbished Wiimotes

$20 with a Nunchuk For those of you who somehow don’t have a full set of four Wii Remote Plus controllers, Nintendo is selling a refurbished bundle pack of remotes and Nunchuks for $20. As a reminder, said controllers will work on both the Wii and Wii U. You can choose from white, black, and blue. Keep in mind that pretty much every Wii U game has an alternate control scheme using Wiimotes, so a few wouldn’t be a bad investment if you’re just rocking a Gamepad....

Prototype 2 getting ‘Hardened Steel’ Best Buy bonus

If you pre-orderPrototype 2at Best Buy, you’ll be getting your hands on the “Hardened Steel” bonus. From what I can tell, this bonus almost breaks the game by making Heller near-invincible whenever he gets into a military vehicle. Just watch the video above, where Heller shrugs off everything that Blackwatch can throw at him. I am trying to decide if that’s unbalanced, or simply the natural conclusion of a game that revolves around power fantasy....

Over 112 million worldwide units sold The latestfinancial report from Sonyshows that sales of its flagship console, PlayStation 4, continue to slow down as 2020 progresses, as the world awaits the launch of PlayStation 5, scheduled for release in the holiday season. Sony has shipped 1.9 million PS4 units since July 02, 2025, which is less than the 3.2 million shipped during the same period in 2019. Raze the dead in For Honor’s Halloween event

Love me some silly spooky game modes Vikings, knights, samurai, and… skeletons? Yes, skeletons! For Honoris celebrating Halloween early with a limited-time Feast of the Otherworld event running from today to Thursday, November 2. The main draw is a rework of 4v4 Dominion, dubbed Endless March, in which soldiers are replaced by skeletons capable of dealing far more damage than normal troops. Another wrinkle: the points you earn from holding zones are only temporary, and the only way to secure permanent points for your team is by killing the undead and other players....

Reggie: If you don’t own a 3DS, what’s wrong with you?

Reggie Fils-Aime, who apparently wears chin polish now, asks the million dollar question in this awkwardly presented video — if you don’t own a 3DS, what’s wrong with you? The shiny-faced meat-slab asks this question as he kicked off seven minutes of desperate appealing, as he attempts to convince the world that the 3DS had cool stuff coming. In fairness, what Nintendo offers appears to be something of a mixed bag, with some legit interesting stuff and some boring or long-known items on the menu....

Review: Razer DeathAdder Elite

That familiar feel While theRazer Kraken 7.1 V2 Gaming Headsetsat atop my head for the last few weeks, the DeathAdder Elite mouse has been under my right palm, clicking away to navigate both virtual battlegrounds and web pages alike. It’s the next iteration in the DeathAdder line, last seen in Chris’ review of theDeathAdder Chroma. There are a few small differences that set this mouse apart from past incarnations, and while I’d be hesitant to recommend upgrading if you already have a unit from this line, the DeathAdder is popular for a reason....

Revisiting the isolated world of Fragile Dreams

Is anybody out there? With each passing day, with each horrific new milestone met in the COVID-19 pandemic, I wonder about how future generations will learn about this era in history. I think back to my education on the Spanish Flu and, outside of the monumental number of people who died from it and when it happened, I can’t recall another fact about it from my various history classes as it was usually enveloped within the greater lesson plan on World War I....

Sam Fisher finds the time to drop a Tweet or two

Splinter Cell: Conviction?Conviction? The word doesn’t even fit. Yeah, the guy is crazy determined to find his kidnapped daughter and save the world and all of that, but I don’t see any conviction in a guy that stops what he’s doing to drop a Tweet or two. The Sammy F. of the old days would never stop for social networking. Now he’s washed up. I bet he makes Twitter App recommendations to thugs now as a form of torture....

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is Star Fox evolved

It’s out of this world WhenStarlink: Battle for Atlaswas announced at E3 2017, I immediately wrote it off. Here was a new toys-to-life product in a time when other franchises in that niche were starting to die off. In 2017 it seemed like an antiquated concept. In 2018 it’s downright ancient. When Ubisoft went silent on the new IP, I told myself it was either being canceled or changed to remove the toys-to-life aspect....
