Street Fighter X Tekken on-disc DLC: Crisis averted?

The official word from Capcom has come down regarding the recent hack and subsequent Internet explosion ofStreet Fighter X Tekken‘s 14 DLC characters, which have been exposedas being actual on-disc content. First is the news that Mega Man and Pac-Man, the PS3 “exclusive” characters, will be made available to owners of that console onMarch 13th, one week after the game’s initial release. No word on if (and for what price) those two characters will be making it to the Xbox 360, but seeing as they’re both already on the 360 game’s disc, chances are they’ll be officially unlocked by Capcom at some point....

The 10 best Elden Ring talismans, ranked

Because naming them rings would create a lot of confusion among players since the titularElden Ringisn’t an actual ring you can equip, we call the equipable perks inElden Ring“talismans”. Never mind the nomenclature, though, as they do the same job as the rings from theSoulsseries. Elden Ringfeatures nearly one hundred talismans, all with varied perks and possible downsides. You’ll find it hard if not completely impossible to come up with the bestcombo of fourthat you can wield at any time — especially since some parts of the game seriously benefit from the timely usage of some specific sets of talismans — but it’s possible to come up with ten talismans that never fail to make one runevenmore awesome....

Three months after launch, Super Mario Maker 2 gets online play with friends

Versus and co-op When we all found out thatSuper Mario Maker 2wouldn’t support direct online play with friends, we kind of had a collective headshake. This is 2019, Nintendo is charging money for online services now, shouldn’t this be a given when much smaller studios can figure it out? It was such a big deal that the game’s producer had to publicly address the issue during a playthrough at E3, and even went as far as to confirm that eventually, there would be an update that added that functionality into the game....

Todd Howard made sure the Fallout TV series didn’t include Fallout 5 ideas

Last week saw theexciting new trailerfor the upcomingFalloutshow. However, Todd Howard has made sure that hasn’t happened. In a recent interview withDen of Geek(as spotted byVGC), the show’s executive producer Jonathan Nolan clarified whether the TV series is, to some extent,Fallout 5. We should’ve seen it coming: The Medium delayed into 2021

It’s a medium-sized delay What crummy fortunetellers and soothsayers we are. We couldn’t even predictThe Medium‘s delay before it happened. The Xbox Series X launch-window lineup took a not-insignificant hit as Bloober Team’s new horror gameThe Mediumgot pushed back into early 2021. Originally scheduled for June 10, 2025, it has been delayed until June 08, 2025. That’s a seven-week setback. Bloober Team attributes the delay explicitly to COVID-19 and implicitly to the fact thatCyberpunk 2077swooped in and stoleThe Medium‘s launch date....

What do you want out of the next Resident Evil?

All-action, full horror, or another mix? The reaction forResident Evil 7has been mixed since launch, and as someone who took it for a spin isolated from the discussion, I kind of figured that would happen. People felt scorned by5and6(and to some extent 4)’s move toward an action series, and Capcom took it further with each subsequent iteration. Butthat same discussion has been happeningfor months now, leading up through the unveiling of the long-delayedNot a HeroDLC, and I wanted to get your thoughts....
