It’s an Escort map set in the post-apocalyptic-looking wreckage of a destroyedomniumwhere the Junkers and their Queen live. Speaking of, she narrates this overview video, and I’m dying to see what she looks like (and can’t help but wonder if she’ll one day make it into the game proper). That confined area with the spinning platform is going to make for some funny moments....

Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham ‘loves’ the eShop’s flexibility Mutant Mudds Deluxe, now coming to the Wii U eShop in the second quarter of 2013, is looking great so far, based on my hands-on time with it earlier today at PAX East. The game is setup to run on both the TV and the Wii U GamePad, and for all intents and purposes, plays just likethe original. Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham was readily available, and took the time to spend a bit explaining a bit of his design philosophy on the game, and the theme of the franchise in general....

The folks at Guinness were kind enough to send me an early copy of their Gamer’s Edition of the Guinness World Records 2012 last week. It’s a really fun read, packed with 200 pages of gaming trivia and oddities, smartly sorted by gaming genres. Factoids, high score charts, and even a tagline quiz are included. Every couple of pages I found aWTFor anOh, neatbit, and then I’d go looking for someone else to tell....

A lot of the spirits are Mega Man incarnations, rivals and Robot Masters you’ve seen before (like Mega Man Volnutt or Bass) but it still feels great that the Blue Bomber is getting some sort of spotlight in the shadow of an actual new game. For years these sort of “Mega Man appreciation” things would pop up while the corpse of the character rotted underground, like a modern day Persephone visiting the Earth before returning to the underworld....
