Destiny has so much lore, it’s sad that almost none of it is in the game

Check out this redditor’s awesome lore posts In-game,Destiny‘sstory is probably the worst part of the experience. Constant Dinklebot “defense” missions and short exposes during load screens are hardly what I’d call a narrative, but that’s what Bungie ended up giving us. Having said that, there is atonof lore buried on the game’s website, and it’s actually pretty decent. One reddit user, KentsFood, has compiled all of the content available for the game’s various enemy factions into singular posts, and the result is astounding....

Although the patch isn’t bringing any new content, the “Iron Banner” event was already scheduled to arrive separately today. It’s very similar to the Queen’s Wrath event in that it focuses on bounties for reputation rewards, but it will deal entirely with PVP....

FFXIII-2 levels up, equips Facebook

In a bizarre twist of events,Final Fantasy XIII-2is getting Facebook support. By inputting your social network credentials in the game’s settings, you’ll be able to update your friends on your party structure, story progress, and other useless statistics. Does anyone else think this is kind of backwards? Personally, I think this idea is far better suited for leaderboards. I like the idea of in-game information staying in-game, and not having to use an additional step to compare stats....

Fight against rampant gun death in Thoughts & Prayers: The Game

Press P to pray There have been 1,000 mass shootings in America over the last 3.5 years. The response to such massacres by those in power — those with the power to, perhaps, try and decrease this rate of mass shootings — is swift and consistent, whether the victims are over 100 patrons of an LGBT-safe club in Orlando or 20 children in a Connecticut elementary school: thoughts & prayers....
