Arc System Works teasing RPG announcement on questionable date

Shame on me, or you, or somebody… Japanese developer Arc System Works have opened a newteaser websiteannouncing the coming of a new series. The site purports that the title will be an RPG, which would be quite a surprise from ArcSys, who are renown for their excellent anime fighting games. It is, however, easy to raise an eyebrow at said announcement, as it is scheduled to take place on April 1, traditionally a day of Fake News (The fun kind, not the world-destroying-arguments kind), so there is a strong possibility that this is just an amusing joke....

In aninterview with Techradar, Oculus Rift inventor Palmer Luckey says the fixed spec for consoles is a weakness...

Days Gone director says the game sold really well, alleges that management downplayed its success

‘Local studio management always made us feel like it was a big disappointment’ Days Goneis such an interesting game from several perspectives. It kind of felt like it came right at the point that folks were getting tired of zombie projects with saturation at an all-time high in a few mediums. When it actually came out, it had a middling impact overall, especially for a first-party Sony game. Jeff Ross, aDays Goneco-director with John Garvin, took to Twitter recently to clarify that the game did exceedingly well....

Dust: An Elysian Tail, a fantastic metroidvania, is coming to iOS

‘Very soon’ Dust: An Elysian Tail, released originally on XBLA in 2012, is one of my favorite metroidvanias in recent memory. The fact that it was developed by one guy, basically, is still insane to me, given how deep the game is mechanically. Now, it’s coming to iOS “very soon,” with customizable inputs and cloud saving, with universal support for iPads and iPhones. It’s just a trailer, but the game seems to be running very smoothly on iOS....
